Two Days Off.

I'm going to the Mall of America to buy Wisconsinite (Wisconsonian?) hats shaped like cheese wedges.

Ears get tired, and that handicaps a mixer; so, we're taking the weekend off.

I've been reading two books in tandem--Rilke's Letters to a Young Poet and Personal Finance for Dummies. I read one for a little while, as Dan mixes, then switch to another.

I have picked up an invaluable life-technique from Coco. Coco has a tendency to say, suddenly, and apropos of nothing, "I like Spongebob."

Or, "I like Dora." (as in Dora the Explorer)

Or, "I like Melissa." (her nanny)

Or, "I like Patrick." (Spongebob's foil)

It's a really great strategy, isn't it? From now on I will be saying, suddenly, and apropos of nothing: "I like soup."

Or, "I like oboes."

Or, "I like boobies."

Oh man, the MOA on the 3rd weekend before Xmas. I would not wish that on anyone. Good luck M! If you need back up just just turn on the bat signal and we'll come a-runnin'

My boyfriends has long since adopted the "I like boobies" technique. He finds it particularly useful when I ask him questions he doesn't know or doesn't want to tell me the answer to.

Patrick is Spongebob's best friend. His foil I guess would be Squidward (who rocks, in an uptight way).

I like robots.

I also like boobies. And I actually do this quite a lot, just blurt out "I like _______" for no apparent reason. WooHoo! I am ahead of the curve.

I like hats shaped like cheese wedges.

Looking forward to receiving my totally rad rock.

Actually, SpongeBob's foil is neither Patrick nor Squidward. More accurately it is one Mr. Sheldon E. Plankton.

Reason No 438 to like your blog: your readers are having a VERY serious discussion about the correct foil to a lovable, pineapple-dwelling sea sponge.

Also, does Coco like Spongebob steal him? Hee.

sometimes ... it's all about the cheese ...

I like SpongeBob . . . uh as well. As for Patrick, Squidward, and Sheldon E. Plankton, I can see valid foil like qualities in all, though I lean towards Squdward as being the character who's traits being most opposite of SpongeBob's, and thusly compliment SB's traits.

Having said that . . . I like Gary. He's my favorite. Meow.

Can't wait for the new album and tours that follow.

I like Patrick, I like boobies, I like hottie men who like boobies, particularly if said men take a shine to my boobies. I heart SpongeBob, and I say that Patrick is the opposite of SpongeBob insofar as SpongeBob is super motivated, and an over achiever when it comes to fry-cookery, whereas Patrick lounges under a rock with little ambition to do much else. Like in the episode where SpongeBob kept winning all of these awards and Patrick was upset, so Patrick decided to do something to get an award, so he got a job at the Krusty Krab, and he went to sweep the floors, and and he was just scraping the top of the broom stick on the floor with the bristles in the air because he couldn't even figure that out, and then a fish saunters up to him and asks,"Hey, Pal, you just get off the bus from stupidville?." And it just goes on and on and on...

Long time reader, first time commenter or something along those lines. Anyways, I went to a party a couple weekends ago at which they had a large closet or sort that wasn't painted so that the sheetrock was exposed. They were inviting everyone to leave them a message or draw them a picture or something with these bright markers. My message consisted of the three words "Casey likes boobies."
