It's weird-looking, no?
Posted by Mike at December 6, 2004 3:18 PMcheck out the ass on MY car. oh wait, i don't have one. city buses have sexy bottoms.
that picture made my nipples hard, mike.

Posted by: nippy at December 6, 2004 3:22 PMit's weird, yes. but it's also hot. you should tap dat ass, as the kids are saying these days.
Posted by: james the s at December 6, 2004 3:41 PMAhh, the eternal indecision of whether a car designer should go modern or go for the old 60's backend look. Obviously, they've been unable to decide on this one.
Posted by: Tim at December 6, 2004 4:18 PMHope you brushed yer booty-licious girl off before you rode her, Mikey, we sexy-assed girls like to see what's goin' on behind us. And talk sweet to her, we like that shit...who's yer daddy, huh? Who. Is. Yer. Dadddddyyy......
(Damn car's got me all randy...like THAT's difficult, er, no.)
Posted by: Deb at December 6, 2004 4:53 PMso not only do you have an ass magazine collection under your bed, you check out the asses of your rental cars? i think you deserve kramer's license plate. mike doughty: assman.

Narvs
Posted by: narvs at December 6, 2004 5:19 PMOn the upside, it looks as though you could get at least two bodies in that trunk. On the downside, it's a Ford to which I say "yuck".

Posted by: John E. at December 6, 2004 5:50 PMI love soup. You should go get some eats at the Good Earth. I don't remember the exact address but it's in the vicinity of 50th & France. The eats are very tasty.
Posted by: Sheri at December 6, 2004 5:54 PMThe car is a chevy Malibu, oh wait, hahaha, get it? Malibu? snow? never the less, it's not a ford, and by the way I just got the double release! Yes a day early, but I live about 40 miles away from Charlottesville(sp?) so hah, the extra songs are nice, laundrytown is a high point, good lyrics. Get Along was a good song on Evenhand and matches the type of music in the double-pack. All in all a good deal, and the t-shirt is good quality, not that thin, crappy t-shirt styles, it's thick. plus, if you don't have skittish this is well worth the price.
Posted by: Car man at December 6, 2004 6:14 PMweird looking, yes. let's say it ain't no chevy you could get at impala bob's. but i bet it runs nice.
Hey, just an FYI - Yesterday I bought a X-mas CD called "Maybe This Christmas", or was it "Maybe It's Christmas"? Anyway, I didn't notice until I got home, it includes a song from our friend Dan Wilson. What a super surprise! Also has Coldplay, Ben Folds, and other goodies. Check it out.
Posted by: Kacie at December 6, 2004 8:38 PMFunny. I was laughing this weekend when I saw a brand new Monte Carlo and thought of Mike when he spoke of his rental car...
Posted by: Kevin at December 7, 2004 12:32 AMCongrats to Mike on Skittish/Rockity Roll 's birth on iTunes. I just checked it out and it's up and available for purchases, etc. Big time.
Posted by: Kevin at December 7, 2004 2:02 AMi sure don't miss brushing snow off of my car. by the way, i refer to myself as a wisconsinonianite, because i'm not even sure what the proper term is, though i lived there all but 3 months of my life. where's the picture of you in the cheese head?
Posted by: yourfriendlaura at December 7, 2004 4:11 AMhey deb, cool coment, yeaaaaa!:) sexy assed girl, ha ha!:)
nice car by the way. how is it called?
I like summit!
The Dan Wilson song on there "what a year for a new year" is the bomb! It maybe one of the highlights of that album, and as a whole its a good Christmas album (they have the tendency to suck). Its sad that none of the other ones (Maybe This Christmas too, tree)match the quality of the first one.
Sean
Posted by: Sean at December 7, 2004 2:21 PMmike, you totally drove past me as i was waiting for the bus. how about offering a bitch a ride next time?
Posted by: frosty at December 7, 2004 2:28 PMMike, today is my B-day, so let's see a surprise show in Minneapolis tonight! What do ya' say?
Posted by: bee at December 7, 2004 3:24 PMSagitarius is the most philosophical of all signs.
Posted by: Lauren at December 7, 2004 4:32 PMmy birthday is in 5 days. surprise show would be nice if i had any money. :(
i just checked out the canadian itunes (which was just introduced a week ago i think?) and no doughty on there yet... the closest to md was "francis doughty".
Posted by: no14 at December 7, 2004 8:36 PMJust obtained (legally) a copy of the new release. Been a long time waiting. Now I can be happy. I see I am not the only one anxiously awaiting mention of show dates. I too have a birthday this month and can't think of any better gift to myself than a ticket to see Doughty here in Mpls.
Sweet dreams (of m.d. tunes dancing in my head),
K
