“Wayne and I met when he sent me an email saying he’d listened to the audiobook of my memoir and loved it. I thought, “There’s no way Wayne Kramer is emailing me randomly, but I really want this to be reality, so I’m just going to act as if.” He invited me to visit his studio next time I was in LA—it’s over a dry cleaners on Fairfax—and I went, totally sure I’d meet a laughing 15-year-old hacker. But there was Wayne Kramer!”
